Costa Rica Bed & BreakfastDennis Nelson, Designer |
|||||||||||||||
This approximately 3250 square foot home was designed as a bed and breakfast in Costa Rica. With 4 bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths, and expansive second floor view decks, this is obviously a luxury home. It is designed to be built with structural insulated panels (SIP's). For climates that might require passive solar heating, or in very hot climates, the choice for orientation could be critical; some further design refinements to reduce passive solar gain through reducing the size (or eliminating) of some windows and/or the addition of awnings or extending roof eaves might be advised.
Second Floor Plan
These plans include all four elevations, scaled floorplans, cross section details, other significant construction details. |
