Your hosts at DreamGreenHomes.com are Kelly and Rosana Hart. We are happy to be able to provide you with a wide range of sustainable home plans. For many years we lived in an unusual passive solar earthbag/papercrete house we built at the beginning of this century. A description of how we built it, with many pictures, can be found here.

Kelly has had a lifelong interest in building and has worked in construction professionally. He has also been the host of greenhomebuilding.com since 2001 and a co-host (with Dr. Owen Geiger) of earthbagbuilding.com since 2007.

Together, Kelly and Rosana operate Hartworks, Inc., which produces video programs and publishes books and markets them. Our website www.hartworks.com describes many of the books and videos that we sell. One video that we produced is titled "A Sampler of Alternative Homes: Approaching Sustainable Architecture", which profiles numerous natural building methods and tours many homes and interviews the builders or owners. This video, along with one about building our house, called "Building with Bags" is available at this Store.

For many years we raised llamas and conducted hikes with the llamas on our 70 acre ranch near Ashland, Oregon. While there Rosana wrote two books: Living with Llamas: Tales from Juniper Ridge and Llamas for Love and Money. These books and the many video programs we produced related to llamas are available at llamas_information.com.

Other websites that Rosana hosts are: cordwainer_smith.com, which helps preserve the legacy of her father who wrote science fiction under the pen name of Cordwainer Smith, and training_dogs.com, that features much information about gentle ways of training dogs.
